Report from VMworld, A Nod to Our Partners, A Look at the Future
A few weeks ago, I attended VMworld alongside an incredible network of colleagues, peers, partners, and other leading minds from the world of technology. As Caveonix celebrated its first full year of operations, we were able to formally announce new partnerships with CenturyLink, Dizzion and Summit Technologies (joining the likes of Dell, IBM and VMware, to name a few). I also presented on a panel with IBM’s Andrew Guerra and Scott Moonen, and attend numerous vendor-partners receptions and client meet-ups (Flexential, Rackspace, HCL, TierPoint and Executive Briefings).
At our booth, the Caveonix team conducted countless demos of RiskForesight for attendees, showing them how to address cyber risk and compliance issues on a proactive basis using multi-dimensional analytics to protect applications in hybrid cloud environments. We received outstanding feedback from companies who were looking to combine their InfoSec teams with their Cloud Ops teams and how RiskForesight would provide the common reason to meet and address issues for their infrastructure. We also heard from VPs of Managed Services who stressed that they simply can’t continue to hire FTE’s to solve these challenges and how RiskForesight could help them reallocate existing staff to support customers with automated intelligence.
As cloud environments evolve and become more sophisticated, it is essential to continue to partner with leading service providers to bring solutions that address the new challenges of the hybrid cloud. It was clear throughout the week at VMworld that our partner network is strong and growing and that our technology can truly solve the cyber risk and compliance challenges presented by the constantly evolving hybrid cloud.
For everyone we met and spoke with at the show, we want to thank you for your continued support and to everyone we weren’t able to reach, we’d love to get in touch to show you how Caveonix provides a common framework for risk management in the hybrid cloud and how it addresses hybrid cloud use cases, traditional security endpoint detection response, SIEM and advanced threat detection. We look forward to showing you all even more in year #2!
